The first funding of 32 million USD is for three wind farms in Vietnam.<\/p>\n<p>Australian Ambassador to Vietnam Andrew Goledzinowski emphasized the importance of partnerships in deals like this.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis investment shows that Australian Government agencies are effectively working with agencies in the Vietnamese system to deliver strategic benefits to both Vietnam and Australia.<\/p>\n<p>The Australian Government is ready to support Vietnam in all its energy needs so that Vietnam can succeed in its transition to the net zero emissions target,\u201d said Mr. Goledzinowski.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter jetpack-lazy-image jetpack-lazy-image--handled\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cafefcdn.com\/203337114487263232\/2022\/11\/18\/photo-1-16687536056492138072401.jpg?w=1170&amp;ssl=1\" alt=\"\u00dac t\u00e0i tr\u1ee3 VinFast 50 tri\u1ec7u USD x\u00e2y h\u1ec7 th\u1ed1ng s\u1ea1c xe \u0111i\u1ec7n to\u00e0n qu\u1ed1c - \u1ea2nh 2.\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" data-lazy-loaded=\"1\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>VinFast\u2019s electric vehicle charging station \u2013 Photo provided by the Australian Embassy in Vietnam<\/em><\/p>\n<p>According to the Australian Embassy, \u200b\u200bthe Australian Government will continue to look for opportunities to support sustainable infrastructure development in the region.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Goledzinowski said the investment demonstrates Australia\u2019s commitment to addressing climate change issues through working with key regional partners, such as Vietnam.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAustralia sees its own challenges in transitioning to a net-zero emissions future. As we begin our domestic electric vehicle transition, we are also committed to working with our partners in Vietnam to help them make the transition,\u201d said Ambassador Goledzinowski.<\/p>\n<p>Australia is participating in the investment alongside the Asian Development Bank and other financial institutions. Part of Australia\u2019s support is being provided through the ACFPC, which provides concessional financing to help pave the way for major private sector investments in the climate sector.<\/p>\n<p>VinFast is a subsidiary specializing in transportation of Vingroup.
