VIS Vietnam Explores Strategic Partnership with Hanoi Industrial Textile & Garment University

On May 20, 2020, VIS Global met with Hanoi Industrial Textile & Garment University (HICT) to explore opportunities for collaboration on a new garment and textile laboratory project. The meeting marked an important step in VIS Global’s long-term strategy to strengthen quality assurance capabilities and support the sustainable development of Vietnam’s textile and garment industry.
Strengthening Industry and Academic Collaboration
The meeting was attended by Mr. Liu Yong, Managing Director of VIS Vietnam, and Mr. Tan, Head of the Faculty of Fibre and Textile at Hanoi Industrial Textile & Garment University.
Despite the limited meeting time, both parties engaged in productive discussions on potential areas of cooperation, with a shared interest in advancing quality standards and technical expertise within Vietnam’s textile and garment sector.
Mr. Tan welcomed the visit and expressed his appreciation for VIS Vietnam’s initiative to establish a collaborative relationship with the university. He also indicated that the proposed partnership would be reviewed and discussed further within the university.
